The natural perfume of organic essential oils has a strong affect on the phenomenous of plant metabolism. The College Orchard Department of Horticulture in India conducted a research study on the value of essential oils in crop production. The study found no negative impact on the ecosystem when using biofertilizers, as is present when using commercially-produced fertilizers. The essential oil derived from the Davana plant produced the largest increase in crop yield without any harmful affect on the produce.
