Jean-Philippe Delhomme has been working as an illustrator since the mid-Eighties. One of his most celebrated works is the series Polaroids de Jeunes Filles, created in 1987.Born in Nanterre, France, in 1959, he studied animation at L'Ecole Nationale des Arts Decoratifs in Paris, graduating in 1985. His first fashion illustrations were published in BritishVogue and soon afterwards his work appeared in a collection of publications including Vogue NipponVogue Paris and House & Garden.In the early Nineties New York department store Barney's launched an advertising campaign in which Delhomme's gouache illustrations captioned with comical text replaced fashion photography.
